This memorandum serves as a reminder of some of the online legal resources available to Bar members through the Linn County Law Library or by other means.

These resources include the following:

  • The Linn County Law Online Library Catalog – Though not compelte, the catalog can be used as a reference resources from the comfort of your own home or office. – Click Here
  • BarBooks – A member benefit for bar members that is included as a part of your regular bar dues. – Click Here
  • Lexis Advance – LexisNexis provides the Linn County Law Library with online and print materials, while the Lexis Advance interface offers innovative features and functionalityies. – Click Here
  • Westlaw – The Thomson Reuters Westlaw database provides users with authoritative primary law, exclusive analytical materials, and much more. – Click Here
  • Fastcase – Thanks to the Oregon State Law Library, our users have access to primary law from all 50 states, including cases, statutes, regulations, court rules, constitutions, a one-stop PACER search of federal filings, and much more. – Click Here
  • New CLE Handbooks – The Library would like more feedback regarding your practice area(s) and the CLE credits you need. Feel free to email Amber here with additional information.
  • Online Conference Room Schedule will be available to attorneys through Google Calendar, in order to show when the conference room has been booked.
  • Additional Open Hours – Beginning June 1, the Linn County Law Library will be open to the public for an additional 10 hours. Further information regarding hours will be sent out via email and posted on Twitter.
  • Updated Linn County Law Library Website – The Linn County Law Library and the IT department have teamed up to create a more user-friendly and interactive platform. Information on developments will be sent via email.
