Deadline - Elder Law CLE Scholarships

The Elder Law Section is offering 2 scholarships to attend the section’s very popular annual UnCLE.

This year the UnCLE will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Valley River Inn, 1000 Valley River Way, Eugene, Oregon from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

This CLE is a unique program that provides the opportunity to get together for a day-long session of brainstorming, networking, and the exchange of ideas/forms on topics ranging from estate planning to guardianship to Medicaid to office practice management.

The sessions will be held in small group discussion formats with topics moderated by elder law attorneys willing to share their experiences. There will be no formal speakers, but there will be time to question and learn from our peers.

The program is modeled on the highly successful NAELA UnProgram. The program has received very high ratings from attendees and may be the best educational opportunity available to us. Despite its title, this program in past years has been approved for MCLE credit.

The registration fee for 2019 is $125, which includes breakfast, lunch and a reception after the program.

Scholarships are available to attorneys who are members of the OSB Elder Law Section or who will become members. The section is offering up to 2 scholarships to cover the registration costs for newer lawyers to attend the in-person event at the Valley River Inn who might otherwise be unable to do so.
