LBBA Benton County Liaison: Erin Duncan

Erin graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School in May 2013. Before joining The Reynolds Law Firm in October 2014, she served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jay A. McAlpin at Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon.
Erin’s practice focuses on family law, including dissolutions, custody, parenting plans, and protective orders. She is a diligent advocate in court and is also trained in negotiation, helping clients realize their goals through creative problem solving. With her legal expertise and calm guidance, Erin helps people manage difficult transitions and achieve stability.
During law school Erin earned a certificate in public interest law with a focus on civil rights. She worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Law Center and as an intern for the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic in Portland, Oregon, helping low-income clients navigate the legal system during times of stress.
Erin is actively involved in the community as a member of women’s service organization The Zonta Club of Corvallis, was a participant in the 2015-16 class of Leadership Corvallis, and is a founding member of the Corvallis Changemakers group. She received the Chamber of Commerce’s “Junior First Citizen” award in January 2018. She has a special interest in domestic implementation of human rights norms. Her article, “The United States’ Maternal Care Crisis: A Human Rights Solution” was published in the Fall 2014 edition of Oregon Law Review.
Erin has lived in Corvallis since November 2013. She enjoys singing in Jubilate! choir, cooking, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
